What Is Different About Busters Dog Training Methods?
We educate dog owners, we don’t train dogs. There are basically three ways to train a dog: using treats (bribing the dog with food), physical methods (using things like prong collars and shock collars to coerce a dog to do something), and then there is what we do. Treats are okay to give just because you love your pup. But, you never see a mama dog handing out treats to her pups to get them to behave. She educates them in them using canine methods. Dogs avoid physicality and so do we! Being physical breeds physicality and can undermine a dog’s trust. Plus, there is no educational value in either treat training or physical methods. Our training is based on dog psychology and communication (no treats required and no harmful or physical methods ever!). We use social order and dog speak (voice tones and body language) to establish YOU as the leader of the pack and educate your dog. Once your dog understands its place in the pecking order, he will gladly relinquish control knowing that his safety lies with you.
